About my campaign

I am Cristóbal Palmer, and I'm running to keep my seat on Carrboro Town Council.

I attended Carrboro Elementary, I was a renter in Carrboro just shy of ten years, and now I'm a married homeowner with two kids zoned for CHCCS schools.

By day I solve complex problems and manage a lab where we teach students to solve technical problems.

I've been canvassing and making phone calls for Democratic campaigns since 2004, and I've been a precinct secretary. I've also been on the board of two different local nonprofit organizations, the Triangle Linux Users Group (TriLUG), and the Carrboro Bicycle Coalition, now merged with its Chapel Hill counterpart and called Shift Chapel Hill Carrboro. I've been a member of Carrboro Town Council since December of 2024.
