Recap Since the Debate

This past weekend I attended a panel put on by JVP (Jewish Voices for Peace), and I look forward to showing up more for them in the future. I firmly believe that if you wish to claim something as a moral value, you must hold to it when it comes at a cost. In this case, that value is actively working against genocide. I encourage you all to check out the work JVP is doing.
On Monday I finalized an order of union-printed campaign yard signs that you will start seeing out in medians and near one-stop early voting sites as soon as they arrive, because we are now within 30 days of the start of one-stop early voting (Thursday the 17th of October is the first day of one-stop early voting).
You will likely also see some hand-drawn yard signs around town, and I am more proud of those signs than the printed ones, because they show the work of friends and family who showed up for a dinner and a party to help me get the campaign going.
I've also re-ordered what campaigns call "palm cards" (these can be anything from the size of a postcard to half a sheet of paper or a full sheet folded into a pamphlet, in my case they are two-sided card stock about half the size of a sheet of letter paper), which get used both for canvassing (knocking on doors) and for distribution at tables outside of early voting sites.
Last but certainly not least, I went to the studio of WCHL 97.9 for an interview which will probably air either the week before early voting starts, or that same week. Again, there are some big deadlines racing up: October 11 is the last day to register to vote using the regular voter registration process. If you aren't sure what your voter registration status is, there is a North Carolina Board of Elections Website page for that.
And again, one-stop early voting starts on Thursday the 17th. Let's Go!
